Why not become a contributor to tumblr’s science section? Simply by A.) Turning your current blog into a mainly science (which can encompass a plethora of subjects like Astronomy, Physics, Neuroscience, Biology, Psychology, Animals, etc.) or you can B.) Create a side blog strictly for science posts, or hey even both if you love science that much. And then just start tagging away. Make sure you tag your science related posts (could be humor, informational, images, literature, quotes, etc.) under Science so that editors and contributors can easily find your post. Remember, the more relevant the tags the better.

I’m encouraging people to become science contributors because I noticed not too long ago that while tumblr has featured tags on many things like GIF, Illustration, Art, Games, Comics and more with top notch feedback [as shown below] Science has been lacking. If a tag like LOL gets second place to GIFs with a 5 out 5 feedback you know there’s a really sad disposition going on. And I want to help excel the tag into better feedback from the tumblr community by encouraging Sci-Enthusiasts, Bedroom scientists, Student scientists and real scientists to come join us in changing that feedback and bringing the quality posts and a quality sub-community of science up. So this is a call to those currently following me (and whomever reads this) to come join our community and let’s show people that tumblr can also be a community where Science thrives with flying colors.
